Uses of Voltaren Ophthalmic 0.1%
Voltaren Ophthalmic 0.1% is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for addressing inflammation and pain in the eye following cataract surgery. Additionally, it is effective in alleviating pain and light sensitivity after corneal refractive procedures.
For eye care, Voltaren Ophthalmic is available under the generic name diclofenac sodium ophthalmic solution.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not use Voltaren Ophthalmic if you are allergic to it, especially if allergic to diclofenac. To ensure safe usage, inform your healthcare provider if you have a history of any of the following conditions:

Voltaren Ophthalmic Directions for Use

- Begin by washing your hands to prevent contamination.
- Tilt your head back and focus upward.
- Pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pouch.
- Position the dropper above your eye and release one drop into the pouch.
- After application, close your eyes gently for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Repeat the same process for the other eye if necessary.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes after use.
