Precautions and Warnings

Before beginning Robaxin, ensure to inform your healthcare provider if you have conditions such as myasthenia gravis, kidney disease, liver disease, or if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Robaxin may induce dizziness or drowsiness, hence it is advisable to refrain from driving or operating heavy machinery until you understand its impact on you. Alcohol can amplify these side effects and should be avoided. Additionally, disclose all medications and supplements you are taking to your doctor to prevent potential interactions.

Dosage

The standard dosage of Robaxin depends on the condition being managed and the patient’s responsiveness to treatment. Initially, the dosage might be higher to manage acute symptoms, commonly at 1500 mg four times daily, which may later be decreased to 1000 mg three times daily.
