Uses of Flovent HFA
Flovent HFA is utilized to avert asthma episodes in both adults and children. This medication is a steroid and falls under the drug class known as Inhaled corticosteroids. It is marketed under the generic name Fluticasone Inhalation.

Flovent HFA Precautions and Warnings

- Maximum dose: 880 mcg twice daily.
Usual pediatric dose for asthma:
- For children aged 4 to 11 years, the initial dose is 50 mcg via oral inhalation twice daily.
- For individuals aged 12 years and older, the initial dose is 88 mcg via oral inhalation twice daily.
