Biktarvy is a combination medication designed to treat individuals with HIV infection. Its primary constituents are bictegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide. This medication functions by preventing the replication of HIV within the body, thereby reducing the risk of developing AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome).
