Alphagan Ophthalmic Solution 0.2% is an eye drop medication used to reduce and manage symptoms related to potential vision problems. Its generic name is Brimonidine Ophthalmic. This solution is often prescribed by doctors to lower intraocular pressure, which can damage the optic nerve.
Use of Alphagan Ophthalmic Solution 0.2%
Containing the active ingredient Brimonidine, this medication works by stimulating the alpha receptors in the blood vessels of the eyes. Alphagan decreases the production of aqueous humor while enhancing its outflow from the eyes.
Precautions and Warnings

Dosage

Place at least one drop of the solution into the pocket and repeat this process twice daily, with doses spaced 12 hours apart.
