• Do not wear contact lenses while using Lotemax, as some formulations contain preservatives that may discolor soft contact lenses.
• Lotemax Ointment may cause temporary blurred vision after application. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision is clear. If vision changes persist, consult your doctor immediately.

Lotemax Ophthalmic Ointment Directions for Use

To use Lotemax Ophthalmic Ointment, follow these directions:

• The typical dose is to apply a ½ inch ribbon of ointment into the conjunctival sac (the space between the eyeball and the eyelid) of the operated eye(s) four times daily.
• Begin using the ointment 24 hours after eye surgery and continue for two weeks post-surgery. The medication should start working promptly. If there is no improvement within two days, contact your doctor.
• Before applying the eye ointment, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. Ensure that the tip of the ointment tube does not touch any surface, including your eyes or fingers.
