Kesimpta is a prescribed medication aimed at managing multiple sclerosis (MS) in adult patients. It specifically addresses:

Precautions and Warnings
Prior to using Kesimpta, inform your healthcare provider if you have any infections or related symptoms, such as:

- Sore throat
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Body aches
Kesimpta should be avoided if you have an active hepatitis B infection. Your healthcare provider will conduct blood tests to confirm the absence of HBV, as this virus can adversely affect your treatment. If you have a history of HBV, it might reactivate during the treatment, which could cause severe liver complications.
Kesimpta Dosage
Kesimpta comes in an injectable form, administered subcutaneously.
The initial dosing schedule involves 20 mg injections at weeks 0, 1, and 2. Subsequently, the same 20 mg dosage should be administered subcutaneously once a month, beginning at week 4.
