Uses of Xarelto
Xarelto (rivaroxaban) is a medication classified as an anticoagulant (blood thinner), designed to prevent and manage blood clots. It is frequently prescribed to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in individuals with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation. - Deep Vein Thrombosis Prophylaxis after Knee or Hip Replacement Surgery: 10 mg once daily, starting 6 to 10 hours post-surgery, for 12 days (knee) or 35 days (hip).
